Neighborhood Treasure – Pictory

Looking through these images (Neighborhood Treasure – Pictory) created an intense desire for me to go home. The strange thing is that no particular place came to mind just the strong desire to feel that amazing feeling of "ahhhh i'm home."

What places make you feel at home? What places or things where you live make you feel at home?

I think I might need to travel around LA sometime and capture my "home".

it's half the battle

did you know that The Beatles' song Yesterday was originally titled Scrambled Eggs?

true confessions

#1) I've always found the song Sledgehammer and accompanying video by Peter Gabriel very annoying. I always kept it a secret, especially as a child because I knew how popular it was. Now that I am older I say, "Screw it Tiffany, SHARE YOUR OPINIONS!" So I shall...even if I lose friends over this.

#2) I love it when a whole family (and one Tiffany) bursts out in excitement when one of them pee-eds on the toilet. I sure hope I get to have kids one day.

they call me a musical genius...

I am sitting here listening to this band:

Trying to decide if i like them or not. Their music is reminiscent of something but i can't quite put my finger on it. "Oh yes." I say to myself. "Classic Rock, kind of psychedelic but who exactly..." I ponder. "Not The Who. Cream? Yes more like Cream."

I start to scan their myspace page and guess what I see??

Influences: Cream, Baby Grandmothers, CAN, Fabienne Delsol, John Lennon, The Shadows (HBM), The Mamas and The Papas, Kyuss (Homme in general), Love, NEU!, Colour Haze, AIR, Dungen, The Nazz (Rungren), Blue Cheer, Crosby Stills Nash and Young, Beck, The Doors, Gnarls Barkley, Steppenwolf, Jefferson Airplane, Massive Attack, Portishead, GZA/RZA/Wu-Tang, Jedi Mind Tricks, Cypress Hill, NAS, SELDA, oh SELDA...

Yes that's right the number one influence listed is CREAM. I am good ladies and gentlemen, I am good.
