if i'd only known

I have a personal goal for February to only eat 16 grams of sugar (from sweets) per day. I'm perfect so far and can guarantee it will remain that way BUT if I'd only done a little research I'd never have made this goal. If only I'd known I'd have set my goal to increase my intake by 20 kilos/day.

The bottom right reads:

Exhaustion opens the door a little wider to the bugs and ailments that are always lying in wait. Sugar puts back energy fast - offsets exhaustion. Synthetic sweeteners put back nothing. Energy is the first requirement of life. Pay safe with your young ones - make sure they get sugar every day.

what does 16 grams a day equal? one cookie? I really have no concept.

16 grams equals two of the cookies i had in my cupboard when i made this decision.
